''Six60'' is the second studio album released by New Zealand rock band Six60. It was released on 27 February 2015 through New Zealand label Massive Entertainment. It debuted at number one on the New Zealand Albums Chart and was certified Gold in its first week. All of the songs on the album made an appearance on the New Zealand Artists Singles Chart in its first week of release due to strong overall sales. The album was later released in a Standard edition or a Deluxe edition with additional tracks. Singles * "Special" was released as the album's lead single on 10 November 2014. Six60
Six60 are a New Zealand pop rock band formed in Dunedin, Otago in 2008. The band consists of Matiu Walters (lead vocals, guitar), Ji Fraser (lead guitar), Chris Mac (bass guitar), Marlon Gerbes (synthesiser), Hoani Matenga (bass guitar) and Eli Paewai (drums). Their self-titled debut album was released on 10 October 2011 on their own label Massive Entertainment. The album was produced and mixed by Tiki Taane and debuted at number one in the New Zealand charts and was certified gold within its first week of release. Their first two singles " Rise Up 2.0" and " Don't Forget Your Roots" reached number one and number two respectively on the RIANZ singles chart and were both certified double and triple platinum. Printz Board
Priese Prince Lamont "Printz" Board (born September 11, 1982) is an American record producer, songwriter, and singer best known for his work with Black Eyed Peas and being a member of the production group Bucky Johnson. In addition, Board has worked with DJ Mustard, CeeLo Green, Mark Ronson, Fergie, and John Legend, among others. Early life Printz is from Columbus, Ohio but moved to Los Angeles at age 10. As a trumpeter, he explored the parameters of jazz and music that instigated his journey from his hometown, where music legends like Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, The Eagles and P-Funk stoked his imagination. Six60 EP
''Six60'' is the third extended play by New Zealand band Six60. The release was a wide-scale commercial success in New Zealand, debuting at number two on the New Zealand albums chart, and being one of the top-performing releases in New Zealand between 2017 and 2021. Production The album was recorded at HQ, the band's newly created studio in Auckland, New Zealand. Release The songs from the extended play were released weekly as singles, beginning on 13 October 2017 with " Don't Give It Up" and ending with "Up There" on 17 November, the release date of the EP. After the release of the EP, the band embarked on The New Waves World, a world tour which included dates in Europe, finishing on 17 March 2018 in Whangārei. In June 2014 it was announced that the chart would also include streaming; this took effect for the chart published 7 November 2014 and dated 10 November 2014. Recorded Music NZ (formerly the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ)) is a non-profit trade association of record producers, distributors and recording artists who sell recorded music in New Zealand. Membership of Recorded Music NZ is open to any owner of recorded music rights operating in New Zealand, inclusive of major labels (such as Sony, Universal and Warner Music Group), independent labels and self-released artists.
