Sir Evelyn De Rothschild Professorship Of Finance
The Sir Evelyn de Rothschild Professorship of Finance is an established chair at the University of Cambridge. The chair is currently assigned to Judge Business School which is the Faculty of Business and Management at Cambridge University. The chair was established in 2007, following a benefaction of £1.85m from the Eranda Foundation in honour of Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, former chairman of N M Rothschild & Sons, and student of economics at Cambridge. Cambridge Judge Business School is the business school of the University of Cambridge. The School is a provider of management education. It is named after Sir Paul Judge, a founding benefactor of the school. Sir Evelyn Robert Adrian de Rothschild (29 August 1931 – 7 November 2022) was a British financier and a member of the Rothschild family. Early life Evelyn de Rothschild was born on 29 August 1931. The son of Anthony Gustav de Rothschild (1887–1961) and Yvonne Lydia Louise Cahen d'Anvers (1899–1977), he was named after his uncle Evelyn Achille de Rothschild who was killed in action in World War I. Raghavendra Rau
Raghavendra Rau holds the Sir Evelyn de Rothschild Professorship of Finance at the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge and the Mercer’s School Memorial Professor of Commerce at Gresham College.
