Singapore Men's National Softball Team
Singapore men's national softball team is the national team for Singapore. In the 1992 World Championships, the eighth time the event was competed for, held in Manila. Australia beat Singapore 14–0 in one game in the first round robin round. In the 2014 Asian Men's Softball Championship, Singapore came in forth. In the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, Singapore came in third. In the 2018 Asian Men's Softball Championship, Singapore won Indonesia to clinched the third position. The victory increased the team ranking from 21st to top 16 which qualified the team for 2019 World Baseball Softball Confederation's Men's Softball World Championship, the first time they qualified for the Championships. The Men's Softball World Cup, known through 2015 as the ISF Men's World Championship, is a softball tournament for the best national men's teams in the world. From 1966 to 2013 it was held every four years, first by the International Softball Federation (ISF) and from 2019 an onward it is held every two years by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), the 16 best teams in the world compete. 2015 Southeast Asian Games
The 2015 Southeast Asian Games ( ms, Sukan Asia Tenggara 2015; ; ta, 2015 தென்கிழக்கு ஆசிய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள்), officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games, or the 28th SEA Games, and commonly known as Singapore 2015, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held by the city-state of Singapore from 5 to 16 June 2015, It was the fourth time the country hosted the games. World Baseball Softball Confederation
World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC; french: Confédération internationale de baseball et softball) is the world governing body for the sports of baseball, softball, and Baseball5. It was established in 2013 by the merger of the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and International Softball Federation (ISF), the former world governing bodies for baseball and softball, respectively. ''The New Paper'' is a Singaporean newspaper in tabloid form. It was originally published as a "noon paper", but since 2016 has been published daily as a freesheet in the morning from 7 a.m. onwards.
