Nasir Adeeb
Nasir Adeeb (born 6 March 1947), is a Pakistani scriptwriter, chiefly working in Punjabi language films of Lollywood. He holds unasserted world record for writing maximum number of film scripts until date. He also wrote many novels, including an espionage spy novel which was published during his school days. He earned his recognition in the 1970s with his first classical film Wehshi Jatt and subsequently with '' Maula Jatt'', a mass market blockbuster film and with its characters like ''Noori Natt''. The film became a subject between the government of Pakistan and the filmmakers for its story written by Nasir Adeeb. The recipient of numerous awards and accordion, including Presidential Pride of Performance, he wrote scripts and dialogues for more than four hundred films and is also credited for introducing ''"gandasa"'' genre in films which according to ''The Diplomat'' brought significant improvements to the Pakistan film industry during its unsuccessful productions. Humaira Channa, also known as Humera Channa (born on 22 Jun 1970 at Lahore), is a 6 Nigar Award winning film playback singer from Pakistan. She has won 3rd most Nigar Awards in history, ranked only after Noor Jehan and Mehnaz. Early life and career Humaira Channa entered the Pakistani entertainment industry influenced by her father who was already a filmmaker. She first sang for her father's film at the age of nine. Hazin Qadri
Bashir Ahmad (9 April 1926 – 19 March 1991), known as Hazin Qadri, was a Punjabi film song lyricist and film screenwriter from Pakistan. Early life Qadri was born Bashir Ahmad in a small village 'Raja Tamoli' near Gujranwala, British India on 9 April 1926. He could not complete his education beyond the elementary or primary school due to poverty. As a young man, he was eager to get an opportunity to try his luck in the then newly established Pakistani film industry after 1947. After two years of struggle, he was given a chance to write his first film song by the veteran film producer and director Anwar Kamal Pasha for his upcoming film Do Ansoo (1950). The film turned out to be a 'hit film'. Career Qadri's second film was ''Nath'' (1952) in which he wrote all the film songs, film script, story and dialogue. Zahir Shah (actor)
Zahir Shah (1947 – 13 June 2017) was a Pakistani film actor working in Lollywood. He is best known for playing villainous roles in Punjabi films. He has been credited with working in over 600 films. He was introduced to film industry through the film '' Yaari Dosti'' by director Altaf Hussain. Later in his career, Shah also briefly worked at theater as an stage actor. Death Shah died on 14 June 2017 at the age of 70 in a hospital at Lahore. He was buried at a graveyard Sargodha, Sargodha.
