Cosmic Gate
Cosmic Gate is a German DJ duo consisting of trance music producers Claus Terhoeven (born 1972) and Stefan Bossems (born 1967). Both hail from Krefeld, Germany. On October 28, 2009, ''DJ Magazine'' announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Ultra Records artist Cosmic Gate placed #19, 43 spots above the group's ranking the year before. For the 2010 ''DJ Magazine'' Top 100 DJ Poll, Cosmic Gate moved to #24. Career Cosmic Gate was formed in 1999 when Terhoeven (also known as Nic Chagall) and Bossems (also known as Bossi) decided to assemble a new project in the electronic music field. Their first single was "The Drums", followed by "Exploration of Space", "Mental Atmosphere" and their "Somewhere over the Rainbow" remix using samples from the film ''The Wizard of Oz''. Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch record label founded by Tijs Verwest (Tiësto) and Arny Bink in 1997. In August 2009, Tiësto decided to leave Black Hole Recordings, setting up the record label Musical Freedom in association with PIAS Entertainment Group. Artem Stolyarov ( rus, Артём Столяро́в; born 28 September 1989), known professionally as Arty (stylized as ΛRTY) and Alpha 9, is a Russian DJ, musician and producer. Tiffany "Tiff" Lacey (born 29 October 1965) is an English trance and electronic dance music (EDM) vocal singer, songwriter, author, and painter. She is the vocalist on several electronic music singles. Best known for her international singles with German producer André Tanneberger (a.k.a. Andy Duguid (born 16 November 1982) is a German- Scottish DJ and producer. His best-known singles, "Don't Belong" and "Wasted", were included on Tiesto's in Search of Sunrise-series in 2007 and 2008.
