Annarita Sidoti
Annarita Sidoti (25 July 1969 – 21 May 2015) was an Italian race walker. Biography Annarita Sidoti was born in Gioiosa Marea. She won eleven medals at senior level in international competition. She participated at three editions of the Summer Olympics (1992, 1996, 2000), and earned 47 caps in fifteen years in the national team from 1987 to 2002. She appeared in the film ''Le complici'' (1998) by director Emanuela Piovano, in which she played a prostitute. Death She died in May 2015 in Gioiosa Marea, Italy, of metastatic breast cancer, which had spread to her liver and brain. She was 45 years old. Christopher 'Chris' Dominic Sidoti (born 1951) is an Australian expert on international human rights law, a lawyer and advocate. He is a former Human Rights Commissioner, and a former commissioner of the Australian Law Reform Commission, and has held a range of other distinguished posts. Career Chris Sidoti was the Foundation Secretary of the Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission (since renamed the Australian Human Rights Commission) in 1987. In November 2016, Sidoti gave a speech for the Commission reflecting on thirty years of achievements and lessons. Between 1995 and 2000 Sidoti served as Australian Human Rights Commissioner, and between 1992 - 1995 was a commissioner of the Australian Law Reform Commission. Sidoti also played a role in the establishment of the Asia Pacific Forum of National Human Rights Institutions. John Sidoti
Anthony John Sidoti is an independent Australian politician who was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly representing Drummoyne since 2011. He was a member of the Liberal Party, but moved to the crossbench as an independent in March 2021, following the announcement of a public inquiry into his property dealings by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). Prior to the ICAC announcement, Sidoti was the New South Wales Minister for Sport, Multiculturalism, Seniors and Veterans in the second Berejiklian ministry between April 2019 and March 2021. He stood down from his ministerial duties in September 2019 pending the potential investigation by ICAC. He was subsequently found to have engaged in serious corrupt conduct. Francesco Sidoti (born 22 March 1948 in Sicily) is an Italian sociologist and criminologist, docteur du troisième cycle (École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris), and professor emeritus at the Università degli Studi dell'Aquila.
