Sidney Jones (American Football)
Sidney Jones IV (born May 21, 1996) is an American football cornerback for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Washington Huskies football, Washington. Early years Jones attended West Covina High School in West Covina, California. He played wide receiver, running back, cornerback and free safety. He originally committed to the University of Utah to play college football, but later flipped his commitment to the University of Washington. College career Jones started 12 of 13 games as a true freshman at Washington in 2014. He finished the year with 61 tackles, two interceptions and one Quarterback sack, sack. Fumble
A fumble in gridiron football occurs when a player who has possession and control of the ball loses it before being downed (tackled), scoring, or going out of bounds. By rule, it is any act other than passing, kicking, punting, or successful handing that results in loss of ball possession by a player. A fumble may be forced by a defensive player who either grabs or punches the ball or butts the ball with their helmet (a move called "tackling the ball"). Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage.
