ShuuKaRen
ShuuKaRen was a Japanese Dance-pop and EDM duo formed and managed by LDH since 2016. They were a sub-unit of supergroup E-girls and signed to the record label Sony Music Japan. The duo was composed of sisters Shuuka and Karen Fujii (hence the sub-unit's name), making them the first joint unit of members from the groups Flower and Happiness. This was also the first time Shuuka provided vocals to a musical project besides being a performer. History 2016: Group formation and debut On August 11, 2016, during the last concert of E-girls' third tour ''E-girls LIVE TOUR 2016 "E.G. SMILE"'' at Saitama Super Arena, Shuuka and Karen announced the formation of their sub-unit "ShuuKaRen" during the encore. Universe (ShuuKaRen Song)
"Universe" (stylized as "UNIVERSE") is a song recorded by Japanese duo ShuuKaRen, composed of sisters Shuuka and Karen Fujii. It was released by Sony Music Entertainment Japan on October 5, 2016 as their debut release together. The single was distributed in three physical formats—a standard CD, a CD and DVD bundle, and a magazine-styled package with two discs—and for digital consumption. Additionally, each addition apart from the one-track format came with the two B-sides: "Tricky" and "Take-a-Shot", whilst a digital EP consisted the instrumental versions. The recording was written by Sakura, Kubo-C, GS, P-Cho and Sway, whilst production and composing was handled solely by Chaki Zulu. It is their first single to be conceived through the concept of "two vocal divas". E-girls (sometimes stylized as E-Girls or e-girls; stands for Exile Girls) was a Japanese collective girl group created and managed by LDH while signed to music label Rhythm Zone from Avex. Karen Fujii
is a Japanese singer, dancer, model and actress. She is a member of J-Pop group Happiness, and a former member E-girls, and ShuuKaRen, and an exclusive model for the magazines '' JJ'' and '' Nicola''. Karen is represented by LDH. Early life Karen entered the entertainment industry at a very young age after she was scouted in her hometown, Osaka. While belonging to the office in which she got scouted, she participated in one of Exile's dance competitions and began attending LDH's talent academy EXPG (Exile Professional Gym), studying both dancing and singing. Shuuka Fujii
is a former Japanese dancer, fashion model, actress, and singer. She performed as a member of the music groups E-girls, Flower, and ShuuKaRen, and was a former exclusive model for '' JJ'' and ''Love Berry''. Fujii announced her retirement from the music industry on December 31, 2017 due to her injuries caused by a cervical herniated disk worsening.
