Shungiku Nakamura
is a Japanese manga artist. She is most famous for creating '' Junjo Romantica: Pure Romance''. Nakamura's distinct style of manga has been identified largely throughout Japanese and English yaoi fanbases. Her works usually include large age gaps between the seme and uke and characters with careers in the publishing industry (as depicted in Junjo Romantica and Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi). Pure Romance is a United States-based multi-level marketing company that sells adult products including sex toys. Under the multi-level marketing (MLM) model, all products are sold exclusively through independent consultants at women-only at-home parties. History Patty Brisben, a former pediatrician's assistant, founded the company Slumber Parties in Loveland, Ohio 1993. Her business used contract salespeople to sell sex toys, lotions, and massage oils through at-home parties. Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi
is a Japanese BL manga series written and illustrated by Shungiku Nakamura. In 2011, the manga was adapted into an anime television series. Produced by Studio Deen under the direction of Chiaki Kon, the anime series began its broadcast run on April 9, 2011. An original animation DVD was bundled with the fifth and sixth volumes of the manga series, released in March and September 2011. A film adaptation was released on March 15, 2014. On December 13, 2016, Funimation announced they had licensed the series, including the OVA. It was released on home-video on March 7, 2017. A new anime adaptation focused on the Proposal Arc has been announced to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the new ''Emerald'' magazine. It premiered on February 21, 2020. ''Hybrid Child'' is a one-shot Japanese manga written and illustrated by Shungiku Nakamura; the creator of ''Junjou Romantica''.
