Shuangqiao-Shahe Railway
The Beijing Northeast Ring railway (), also known as Shuangqiao–Shahe railway or Shahe railway, is a link railway in Beijing railway hub. The line has a total length of and connects the railway lines in Beijing, including Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway, Beijing–Baotou railway, Beijing–Tongliao railway, Beijing–Shenyang high-speed railway and Beijing–Harbin railway. History The rail starts at Baiziwan station on the southeast ring railway, crosses the Beijing–Harbin railway and Tonghui river to the north, turns to the west of Wangjing, and connects with the Beijing–Baotou line 27.850 kilometers between Qinghe and Shahe Station, with a total length of 36 kilometer. The line was designed by the China Railway Third Design Institute and constructed by the Beijing Railway Bureau. Rail transport is an important mode of long-distance transportation in China. As of 2021, the country had more than of railways, the second longest network in the world. By the end of 2021, China had more than of high-speed rail (HSR), the longest HSR network in the world. Beijing–Shenyang High-speed Railway
Beijing–Shenyang high-speed railway is a -long high-speed rail line of the China Railway High-speed between Beijing and Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province. It is a section of the Beijing–Harbin high-speed railway. The line was intended to relieve a significant bottleneck in China's transportation network between the Northeast region and Beijing. The route runs to the north and inland of the existing routes which hug the coast around the Bohai sea. The new line leaves Beijing heading northeast to Chengde in Hebei province then turn east through Chaoyang, and Fuxin in Liaoning province, on route to Shenyang. There are 16 stations, which were the last section of the Beijing–Harbin high-speed railway to be completed; the other sections of that line had been operational since December 1, 2012. Beijing–Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway
The Beijing–Zhangjiakou intercity railway, also known as the Jingzhang intercity railway, Jingzhang high speed railway, Jingzhang section of Beijing-Baotou PDL, is a high-speed railway between Beijing and Zhangjiakou in Hebei province, China. The line was opened on 30 December 2019, and is the world's first driverless high speed railway, shortening the traveling time from Beijing to Zhangjiakou from 3 hours 7 minutes to 47 minutes. It forms part of both the Beijing–Lanzhou corridor and the Beijing–Zhangjiakou–Datong–Taiyuan branch of the Beijing–Kunming corridor. The main line has 10 stations.
