Plain White T's are an American Rock music, rock band from Lombard, Illinois, formed in 1997 by high school friends Tom Higgenson, Dave Tirio, and Ken Fletcher, and joined a short time later by Steve Mast. The group had a mostly underground music, underground following in Chicago basements, Nightclub, clubs, and Bar (establishment), bars in its early years. The band had a List of number-one hits (United States), number-one hit song with "Hey There Delilah", which achieved RIAA certification, platinum status in 2007 and earned two Grammy Award, Grammy nominations. ''Wonders of the Younger'' is the sixth studio album by American rock band Plain White T's. It was released by Hollywood Records on December 7, 2010, and was produced by Ian Kirkpatrick. The collection of the songs was designed to evoke the feeling of awe and the yearning for adventure remembered from youth. On September 9, the album art was revealed on the band's official MySpace account. On September 13, the album finished up with mastering engineer Brian "Big Bass" Gardner at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood. Background Frontman Tom Higgenson says of the album, "It's still very much a Plain White T's album. The songs are sincere and melodic, no matter what the subject matter. American Nights
''American Nights'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Plain White T's. It was released by Megaforce Records on March 31, 2015. Background ''American Nights'' was originally scheduled for a 2014 release by Hollywood Records. During production, however, the band had creative disagreements with the label's executives, which led Hollywood to delay the album's release. Lead vocalist Tom Higgenson said of the conflict, "They were pushing for songs that the band wasn't 100 percent on. It was kind of like, 'You don't want us to record this song that everybody loves, but you want us to do this one that one of the five guys don't like at all?' It was a really annoying process." After the album was completed, the band decided to leave Hollywood Records altogether and recut the album according to their vision.
