Asaka Shooting Range
Camp Asaka is a base of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. It lies in four municipalities: Nerima, Nerima, Tokyo; Asaka, Saitama; Wakō, Saitama, Wako, Saitama; and Niiza, Saitama. It serves as the headquarters of the Eastern Army (Japan), Eastern Army. The camp was originally the site of a golf course from 1930 to 1940. It served as the site of the Imperial Japanese Army Junior Military Academy from 1941 to 1945, and as a United States Army camp (South Camp Drake) from 1945 to 1960, during which time it housed part of the 1st Cavalry Division (United States), 1st Cavalry Division. Yukie Nakayama
is a Japanese trap shooter, who competed at three Olympic games and won the silver medal at the 2013 ISSF World Championships. Nakayama made her official Olympic debut at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where she finished thirteenth in the women's double trap, with a score of 94 points, tying her position with Finland's Pia Julin. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Nakayama competed in trap shooting, where she scored a total of 67 points in the qualifying round. Aleksey Aleksandrovich Alipov (russian: Алексей Александрович Алипов, born 7 August 1975) is a Russian olympic Trap shooter. He is the 2004 Olympic champion in that discipline. Matthew Coward-Holley (born 14 December 1994) is a British sport shooter. Coward-Holley was a promising rugby player as a teenager but two serious back injuries involving broken vertebrae ended his playing. In order to remain active, he turned to shooting, a sport he had done with his father between the ages of 8 and 12 before taking up rugby. Kirsty Hegarty (née Barr; born 12 September 1988) is a British trap shooter from Northern Ireland. Early life Kirsty Barr was born in Craigavon, County Armagh in 1988, the daughter of shooters Clifford and Sandra Barr. Kirsty attended Ballymena Academy, County Antrim and is an alumna of Queens University, Belfast, where she studied Aerospace Engineering.
