Wolf Creek Shooting Complex
The Wolf Creek Shooting Complex, now known as the Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds, is a shooting range located southwest of Atlanta, Georgia, United States, in Fulton County, Georgia, Fulton County. During the 1996 Summer Olympics, it hosted the Shooting at the 1996 Summer Olympics, shooting event. Until 2002, it was also often used for ISSF World Cup competitions in rifle and pistol events, although such competitions, when held in the United States, have now reverted to being carried out at Fort Benning. The venue is now owned by the Parks & Recreation Department of Fulton County. It has 20 trap shooting, trap and skeet shooting combination fields, and nine lighted areas. The facility has been host to several NSSA State and Zone skeet tournaments. The range is also home to recreational shooting leagues such as the Atlanta Skeet and Trap League. Adam Christophe Saathoff (born May 25, 1975 in Sierra Vista, Arizona) is an American sport shooter. He has competed for Team USA in running target shooting at three Olympics (1996 to 2004), and has been close to an Olympic final in 2004 (finishing in eighth place). Outside his Olympic career, Saathoff has won a total of five medals in a major international competition, spanning the ISSF World Cup series and the World Championships. Bryan Kenneth Wilson (born 26 September 1962 in Melbourne) is an Australian sport shooter. He has competed for Australia in running target shooting at four Olympics (1984, 1988, 1996, and 2004), and has produced a phenomenal record of eleven medals in a major international competition: spanning the Commonwealth Games and the Oceanian Championships. Wilson is a full-fledged member of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia.
