Shooting At The 2006 Asian Games – Men's 50 Metre Rifle Three Positions Team
The men's 50 metre rifle three positions team competition at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar was held on 7 December at the Lusail Shooting Range. The men's 50 metre rifle three positions consists of the prone, standing and kneeling positions, fired in that order, with 3×40 shots for men. The men's match has separate commands and times for each position, giving each shooter 45 minutes to complete the prone part, 75 minutes for the standing part, and 60 minutes for the kneeling part, including sighting shots for each part. The top eight competitors reach the final, where the score zones are divided into tenths, giving up to 10.9 points for each shot. The men's final consists of ten shots from the standing position, with a time limit of 75 seconds per shot. The competition is won by the shooter who reaches the highest aggregate score (qualification + final, maximum 1309.0). Lusail Shooting Range
Lusail ( ar, لوسيل, , ) is the second-largest city in Qatar, located on the coast, in the southern part of the municipality of Al Daayen. Lusail is located about north of the city centre of Doha, just north of the West Bay Lagoon, on over and will eventually have the infrastructure to accommodate 450,000 people. Of these 450,000 people, it is estimated that 250,000 or fewer will be residents, 190,000 will be office workers and 60,000 will be retail workers. It is planned to have marinas, residential areas, island resorts, commercial districts, luxury shopping and leisure facilities, and a golf course community, man made islands and several entertainment districts. Standing Position
Anatomical terminology is a form of scientific terminology used by anatomists, zoologists, and health professionals such as doctors. Park Bong-duk
Park Bong-Duk (also ''Pak Bong-Deok'', ko, 박 봉덕; born September 23, 1973 in Seoul) is a South Korean sport shooter. He won two bronze medals in the men's 50 m rifle three positions at the 1998 Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand, and at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, with scores of 1,247 and 1,256.8 points, respectively. He also competed for two rifle shooting events (prone and three positions) at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, but he neither reached the final round, nor claimed an Olympic medal. Four years after competing in his first Olympics, Park qualified for his second South Korean team, as a 35-year-old, at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by placing third for the 50 m rifle prone ( FR60PR) from the 2007 Asian Shooting Championships in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
