Shlomi Avisidris
Shlomi Avisidris ( he, שלומי אביסידריס; born 14 May 1989) is an Israeli footballer. Avisidris is the only footballer who played in all leagues in his country. Career Avisidris is a protege of Ironi Kiryat Shmona youth ranks and in 2008 he became a permanent player in the senior team. As part of the senior team, he scored the winning goal for Kiryat Shmona in the 2011 Toto Cup final, the first major trophy of the club. However, Avisidris' involvement in criminal activities, which included a conviction in drug offences, sent the player to loan periods in Hapoel Ra'anana, Bnei Yehuda, Hapoel Ramat Gan and Hapoel Asi Gilboa. In September 2013, Avisidris was transferred from Kiryat Shmona to Maccabi Umm al-Fahm. However, the troubled team, which was included in Liga Leumit in the last moment and had to field its youth team for league matches, couldn't keep the player, and transferred him to Liga Alef club, F.C. The Betar Movement ( he, תנועת בית"ר), also spelled Beitar (), is a Revisionist Zionist youth movement founded in 1923 in Riga, Latvia, by Vladimir (Ze'ev) Jabotinsky. Chapters sprang up across Europe, even during World War II. After the war and during the settlement of what became Israel, Betar was traditionally linked to the original Herut and then Likud political parties of Jewish pioneers. Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona Football Club ( he, מועדון כדורגל הפועל עירוני קרית שמונה) known as Ironi Kiryat Shmona is an Israeli football club based in Kiryat Shmona. The club is a current member of the Israeli Premier League, and plays at the Ironi Stadium. They won their first league title in 2011–12. History The club was founded in 2000 by a merger of Hapoel Kiryat Shmona of Liga Alef and Maccabi Kiryat Shmona of Liga Bet, and took Hapoel Kiryat Shmona's place in Liga Alef, as well as playing at Hapoel's stadium. The merger was initiated by businessman Izzy Sheratzky owner of Ituran Location and Control, who are the official sponsors of the team. 2009–10 Toto Cup Leumit
The 2009–10 Toto Cup Leumit was the twenty-eight season of the third most important football tournament in Israel since its introduction and sixth under the current format. It was held in two stages. First, sixteen Liga Leumit teams were divided into four groups. The winners and runners-up, were advanced to the Quarterfinals. Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals was held as one-legged matches, with the Final played at Winter Stadium in Ramat Gan. The defending champions were Hapoel Be'er Sheva, making it their third Toto Cup title overall. It won on 15 December 2009 by Ironi Kiryat Shmona. The Israel Toto Cup ( he, גביע הטוטו, ''Gvia Ha'Toto'') is an association football tournament that features clubs in the two highest divisions in Israel: the Israeli Premier League ( Ligat Ha'Al), and the second division Liga Leumit. From 1999 to 2009, the tournament was also open to clubs from the third division, until the cancellation of Liga Artzit. The Toto Cup is the third most important competition in Israeli football after the Israeli Premier League and the Israeli State Cup. Liga Gimel ( he, ליגה ג', lit. ''League C'') is the fifth and bottom division of Israeli Football League, a position it has held since 2009. From Liga Alef and downwards to this, each league is separated by region as well. History Liga Gimel was first established in 1951 as a third division, below Liga Alef and Liga Bet. In 1955, after designating the first tier as Liga Leumit, Liga Gimel was demoted to the fourth tier. Further demotions followed in 1976, after the second tier Liga Artzit to the fifth tier and in 1999, after the establishment of Liga Ha'Al to the sixth tier. The 2009–10 Liga Leumit was the 11th season since it became the second-tier in 1999 and the 68th season of second-tier football in Israel. It began on 21 August 2009 and ended on 15 May 2010. Liga Leumit ( he, ליגה לאומית, lit. ''National League'') is the second division of the Israeli Football League, and below its Premier League. Structure There are 16 clubs in the league. At the end of each season, the two lowest-placed teams are relegated to Liga Alef while the two highest-placed teams from Liga Alef are promoted in their place. The 2014–15 Liga Bet season saw Hapoel Kafr Kanna (champions of the North A division), Hapoel Baqa al-Gharbiyye (champions of the North B division), Hapoel Bik'at HaYarden (champions of the South A division) and Bnei Eilat (champions of the South B division) win the title and promotion to Liga Alef. The clubs ranked 2nd to 5th in each division entered a promotion play-off, at the end of which, Hapoel Iksal (from the North section) and Hapoel Kiryat Ono (from the South section) met the teams ranked 14th in Liga Alef. The 2013–14 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Kfar Saba (champions of the North Division) and Maccabi Kiryat Gat (champions of the South Division) win the title and promotion to Liga Leumit.
