Isa Sedigh
Isa Sedigh ( fa, عیسی صدیق, also known as Sedigh Alam or Sadiq Aʿlam, "the knowledgeable Sadiq"; 1894–1978) was minister of education in Iran, and the third president of the University of Tehran. Early life and education Isa Sedigh was born in June 1894 in ''Hammam Ghebleh'', Tehran. His father, Mirza Abdollah Shamloo, also known as Abdollah Sedigh Al-Tojjar Isfahani, was a grandson of Mirza Mehdi Khan Astarabadi. Isa Sedigh finished his undergraduate education in Kamalieh School and Dar ul-Funun. After finishing school, he traveled to France with the first student expedition in 1911. Richard Nelson Frye
Richard Nelson Frye (January 10, 1920 – March 27, 2014) was an American scholar of Iranian and Central Asian studies, and Aga Khan Professor Emeritus of Iranian Studies at Harvard University. His professional areas of interest were Iranian philology and the history of Iran and Central Asia before 1000 CE. Gaylord Harnwell
Gaylord Probasco Harnwell CBE (September 29, 1903 – April 18, 1982) was an American educator and physicist, who was president of the University of Pennsylvania from 1953 to 1970. He also held a great number of positions in a wide variety of national political and educational boards and committees, as well as senior positions in both the Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania and the United States Navy.
