"Shine" (,) is a song recorded by South Korean boy group Pentagon (South Korean band), Pentagon. It was released on April 2, 2018, by Cube Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment as the lead single from the group's third extended play Positive (EP), ''Positive''. The Japanese version of the song was released by Cube Entertainment, Cube Entertainment Japan, distributed by Universal Music Japan on August 29, 2018. The track was written by Dawn (rapper), E'Dawn, Hui (singer), Hui, Yuto Adachi, Yuto, Wooseok with Flow Blow credited as the producer. This is the last Korean single to feature Dawn (rapper), E'Dawn due to his hiatus and subsequent departure from the group. Pentagon (; stylized as PENTAGON; abbreviated as PTG) is a South Korean multi-national boy band formed by Cube Entertainment in 2016. The group consists of nine members: Jinho, Hui (singer), Hui, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto Adachi, Yuto, Kino (singer), Kino and Wooseok. The K-pop Hot 100 is a music singles chart in South Korea, launched by ''Billboard'' in conjunction with ''Billboard'' Korea () on August 25, 2011. It is the second Asian ''Billboard'' chart after the Japan Hot 100. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. ''Simply K-Pop'' (; also known as ''Simply K-pop Con-Tour'' or ''Simply Con-tour'') is a South Korean music television program broadcast by Arirang TV. Originally called ''The M-Wave'', the show's title was changed to ''Wave K'' in 2011, and renamed again in 2012 to ''Simply K-Pop''. It airs live worldwide every Friday at 13:00PM KST, and is broadcast from Arirang Tower in Seocho-dong, Seoul.
