Sher Singh (4 December 1807 – 15 September 1843) was the fourth Maharaja of the Sikh Empire. Elder of the twins of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, founder of the Sikh Empire and Maharani Mehtab Kaur. Sher Singh Attariwalla
Raja Sher Singh Attariwala was a royal military commander and a member of the Sikh nobility during the period of the Sikh Empire in the mid-19th century in Punjab. He commanded the Sikh Khalsa army in the Second Anglo-Sikh War against the British East India Company. His father was General Chattar Singh Attariwalla. General Sher Singh and the army, under his command, gave a devastating blow to the British Army at Chillianwala. Under his command the Sikh Khalsa Army managed to successfully defend its position against a British army at the Battle of Chillianwala. Sher Singh Ghubaya (born 10 June 1962) is an Indian politician who was a member of the Lok Sabha, elected from Firozpur constituency of Punjab in 2009 and 2014, as a member of Akali Dal. Pankaj Singh Pundir (; born 17 May 1976), popularly known as Sher Singh Rana or S. Rana, is an Indian criminal turned politician who was sentenced for the 2001 vendetta-related assassination of Indian dacoit-turned- parliamentarian, Phoolan Devi. In August 2014, Rana was sentenced to life imprisonment and a fine of ₹100,000 (approximately US$1,600) for Devi's assassination, as well as charges of conspiracy, after a 10-year trial.
