The Shenzhen–Hong Kong high-speed train () are High-speed rail, high-speed train services operating between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Although categorized as G-series trains, of which the top-speed is commonly 300-350 km/h, the top-speed for trains on this service is 200 km/h. History The high-speed train services between Shenzhen and Hong Kong was commenced on 23 September 2018 when the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link Hong Kong section, Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link, Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong XRL was opened. The G5711 train towards and G5736 train towards are the trains on the debut service. Vibrant Express
Vibrant Express ( zh, t=動感號), also known as MTR CRH380A or MTR380A, is a high-speed train operated by Hong Kong government-owned public transport operator MTR. It was manufactured by Chinese state-owned manufacturer CRRC Qingdao Sifang, CSR Qingdao Sifang (now CRRC Qingdao Sifang) based on the China Railway CRH380A, CRH380A ''Hexie (train), Hexie'' Electric multiple unit, EMUs developed for China Railway. Nine 8-car trainsets were ordered by the Government of Hong Kong, Hong Kong government through the MTR Corporation and delivered between 2016 and 2017. It is the first high-speed train produced by CRRC not operated by China Railway. Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link
The Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL), also known as the Guangshengang XRL, is a high-speed railway line that connects Guangzhou and Hong Kong (Kowloon) via Shenzhen. Three types of rolling stock that operate along the XRL: Hexie (Harmony) and Fuxing (Rejuvenation) operated by China Railway, and Vibrant Express (a modified version of the CRH380A) by MTR Corporation. The first phase, Shenzhen North– Guangzhou South, commenced revenue operation in December 2011. Services were extended to the city centre of Shenzhen at Futian in December 2015. The final phase, which connects Shenzhen-Futian to Hong Kong (West Kowloon) was inaugurated on 22 September 2018. It opened for public on Sunday 23 September 2018. The Beijing–Hong Kong high-speed train () is a high-speed train service operated by China Railway Guangzhou Group (CR Guangzhou) on Beijing–Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong HSR in China.
