Shenandoah Valley Governor's School
The Shenandoah Valley Governor's School is one of Virginia's 18 state-initiated magnet Governor's Schools. It is a part-time school where 11th and 12th grade students take advanced classes in the morning (receiving their remaining classes from their home high school). Waynesboro High School
Waynesboro High School is a public high school in Waynesboro, Virginia, United States. Construction on the school began in 1936, funded by a Public Works Administration grant. Soon after it was completed in April 1938, there were 370 students and 13 faculty members. In the spring of 2015, there was an ongoing debate on the future of the building: to rebuild or renovate. Staunton High School
Staunton High School is a public high school in Staunton, Virginia, United States. It is a part of Staunton City Schools, a public school district that also includes three elementary schools, a middle school, and an alternative education program. History Staunton High School was originally opened in the early 1900s and renamed Robert E. Lee High School in 1914 during the monthly school board meeting held on April 30, 1914 at the urging of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The school was named after Robert E. Lee, commander of the Confederate States Army, who also led the Army of Northern Virginia during the Civil War. The original building, at 274 Churchville Avenue, is in Colonial Revival style. Stuarts Draft High School is in the community of Stuarts Draft in southeastern Augusta County, Virginia. The school opened in 1970 during a consolidation period for the county's public schools.
