''Shehnai '' is a 1947 Indian Bollywood film directed by P. L. Santoshi, starring Kishore Kumar, Indumati, Radhakrishan, V.H. Desai and Rehana. It was the fifth highest grossing Indian film of 1947. Santoshi went on make the classic, ''Barsaat Ki Raat'' (1960) starring Madhubala and Bharat Bhushan. Filmistan is an Indian film studio based in Goregaon, Mumbai. Spread over five acres, near Patkar College on S.V. Road, the studio has seven shooting floors, and a temple and garden for outdoor locations. Patkar College's reputation has increased due to this studio. It previously operated as a film production company as well. Kumkum, born Zaibunnisa (08 June 1934 – 28 July 2020), was an Indian actress. She acted in approximately 115 films during her career. She is best known for her roles in ''Mr. X in Bombay'' (1964), ''Mother India'' (1957), ''Son of India'' (1962), ''Kohinoor'' (1960), ''Ujala'', ''Naya Daur'', ''Shreeman Funtoosh'', ''Ek Sapera Ek Lutera'', ''Ganga Ki Laharen'', ''Raja Aur Runk'', ''Aankhen'' (1968), ''Lalkaar'', ''Geet'' and ''Ek Kuwara Ek Kuwari''. Meena Kapoor
Meena Kapoor (1930 in Kolkata (then Calcutta) – 23 November 2017) was an Indian playback singer. She was the daughter of actor Bikram Kapoor who worked with the New Theatres studio. Her family was also related to famed filmmaker PC Barua. Meena's singing was noticed at a young age by composers like Ninu Mazumdar and SD Burman.
