Based on the novel ''She Loves Me Not'' by Edward Hope and the subsequent play by Howard Lindsay, the film is about a cabaret dancer who witnesses a murder and is forced to hide from gangsters by disguising herself as a male Princeton student. Alan Rankine (17 May 1958 – 3 January 2023) was a Scottish musician and record producer best known as keyboardist and guitarist for rock band the Associates, which he co-founded with lead vocalist Billy Mackenzie in the late 1970s. Early life Alan Rankine was born in Bridge of Allan, Stirlingshire. He lived in "the posh part of Dundee" until around the age of 11, followed by Glasgow and then Linlithgow. His father, Jim Rankine, was a school inspector and his mother was a secretary. She Loves Me Not (song)
"She Loves Me Not" is the first single from rock band Papa Roach's third studio album, ''Lovehatetragedy'', and fourth released single in total. Originally written as part of a five-track promo and demo CD funded by Warner Bros. Records in 1999, "She Loves Me Not" was re-recorded and improved for its new release in 2002. It was left off their first album, '' Infest'' (2000), because the band thought the song was too rock-oriented. The song appeared in the soundtrack for the game ''NHL 2003''. Music video The video for "She Loves Me Not" shows the band playing in a dilapidated theme park which people are using as a social gathering. The content is mostly performance based with cuts to people in the park who are vandalizing it, fighting, etc. It was directed by David Meyers David Meyers may refer to: *Dave Meyers (director) (born 1972), American music video director *Dave Meyers (basketball) David William Meyers (April 21, 1953 – October 9, 2015) was an American basketball playe ...

Loves Me Not
"Loves Me Not" was a planned fourth single for the album ''Dangerous and Moving'' by t.A.T.u. However, due to the group leaving Universal Records, the song's release was postponed, then later cancelled in all countries, except for a limited release in France. Even though it was cancelled, it is available on some countries' iTunes Music Store with only the original song. Unlike most of the duo's songs, "Loves me Not" and "All About Us" exist exclusively in English; there is no Russian-language version of either song, and English versions were included on the Russian version of the album. A video of the group performing the song at "Glam As You" in Paris was aired on a few television stations worldwide. Music and lyrics by Andy Kubiszewski and Ed Buller. Cover photo taken by Bryan Adams. Although the song was first seen on ''Dangerous and Moving'', it is considered the only single from ''The Best Best or The Best may refer to: People * Best (surname), people with the surname B ...
