"She's a Genius" is a song by Australian rock band Jet. It was released as the lead single from the band's third album ''Shaka Rock''. The song was played at a secret show in Melbourne in November 2008 and was announced as the first single along with the album title and album artwork in April 2009. It was also played live as part of their set at the Melbourne and Sydney Sound Relief concerts for the victims of the Black Saturday bushfires in March 2009. Jet was an Australian rock band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2001. For most of the band's tenure, it consisted of lead guitarist and vocalist Cameron Muncey, bassist Mark Wilson, and brothers Nic (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Chris Cester (drums, vocals). ''Tap Tap'' or ''Tap Tap Revenge'' was a series of rhythm games by Tapulous available for the iOS of which several versions, both purchasable and free, have been produced. The goal of the game is to tap each of the colored balls when they reach a line at the bottom of the screen. If the ball is hit on the beat, the player gains points, but if not, it counts as a miss. If a player taps the screen without a tapper on the beat, the streak will go back to 0 and a few points will be lost except for 16x. ''Shaka Rock'' is the third studio album by Australian rock band Jet. It was released on 21 August 2009 by Virgin Records. History The band began working on the album in 2008. After touring was completed for their previous album, '' Shine On'', the band took a short break. The album was originally thought to be released in late 2008 but a secret show was played in Melbourne in December 2008 only to debut new material. Various tracks from the album were played at this concert, including the first single " She's a Genius". In an interview with MTV's Ruby Rose on Channel 10's '' 7PM Project'', it was said two unnamed tracks were recorded in Australia, one in Melbourne and one in Sydney.
