Shayne D'Cunha
Shayne Warren Tiber D'Cunha (born 1 April 1996) is a retired professional soccer player who most notably played as a defender for Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League. Born in India, he represented Australia at youth level internationally. Career Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra in India, D'Cunha moved to Sydney, Australia with his parents in 2000 when he was four years old. His parents moved their family to Australia in order to give their children a better chance at life. D'Cunha started playing football at the local level at the age of five or six and soon choose it as his sport of preference over cricket. Eventually, D'Cunha joined the youth ranks of the Western Sydney Wanderers and played for Blacktown City. 2014 Waratah Cup
The 2014 Waratah Cup was the 12th season of Football NSW's knockout competition in the state of New South Wales, Australia, which ran from 15 March to 6 July. Clubs entered from the top four divisions of the State League (including the recently established National Premier Leagues NSW), as well as teams from various other amateur Associations. The winners were Blacktown City FC, Blacktown City, their 4th title (including the Statewide Cup competition). The competition also served as Qualifying Rounds for the 2014 FFA Cup Qualifying Rounds#New South Wales, 2014 FFA Cup. The Waratah Cup is a knockout cup competition in New South Wales, run by the governing body of football in NSW, Football NSW. Teams competing in the Waratah Cup come from the National Premier Leagues NSW, National Premier Leagues NSW 2, National Premier Leagues NSW 3, National Premier Leagues NSW 4 and numerous other semi professional & amateur association clubs within New South Wales. The Cup is held during the NPL NSW seasons.
