Shaun Buswell
Buswell & Nyberg are a duo consisting of Shaun Buswell, an English musician, comedian and music challenger and Erik Nyberg, a Swedish musician, record producer and music challenger. Buswell is known for performing with his band Buswell, and Nyberg performs under the name Last Box of Sparklers. They are known for completing musical challenges, and for creating pop-up orchestras from strangers for one-off concerts. Early life Buswell was born in Swindon, England. Nyberg was born in Skara, Sweden. They met touring with their respective bands in 2007. Music Buswell began his career as a solo artist, Buswell, in 1999. Francis Edward Turner (born 28 December 1981), is an English Punk rock, punk and Folk music, folk singer-songwriter from Meonstoke, Hampshire. He began his career as the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead, then embarked upon a primarily acoustic-based solo career following the band's split in 2005. Theremin
The theremin (; originally known as the ætherphone/etherphone, thereminophone or termenvox/thereminvox) is an electronic musical instrument controlled without physical contact by the performer (who is known as a thereminist). It is named after its inventor, Leon Theremin, who patented the device in 1928. The instrument's controlling section usually consists of two metal antenna (radio), antennas which sense the relative position of the thereminist's hands and control oscillation, oscillators for frequency with one hand, and amplitude (Loudness, volume) with the other. The electric signals from the theremin are amplifier, amplified and sent to a loudspeaker. The sound of the instrument is often associated with wikt:eerie, eerie situations. Voice of Nomads ("Голос кочевников") is an international music festival held in Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia in eastern Siberia, Russia. Launched by the Buryat Ministry of culture in 2009, it attracts performers from Europe, Asia, and America. The festival takes place over several days and includes musical performances, exhibitions of traditional clothing and culture, camping, and silk road tourism on the steppes. It is described as "ethnofuturist". The event is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, which provides the funds for the event.
