DD National
DD National (formerly DD1) is a state-owned public entertainment television channel in India. It is the flagship channel of Doordarshan, India's public service broadcaster, and the oldest and most widely available terrestrial television channel in India. History 1959 to 1982: Beginnings On 15 September 1959, at the studio of All India Radio, Delhi, the first TV channel in India started an experimental telecast with a small transmitter and a makeshift studio, adopting the brand ''Doordarshan'', Hindi for television. Until 1965, AIR was responsible for the programming production and overall control over content, as the television service began to assume overall production. ''Denver, the Last Dinosaur'' is TV an animated series produced by World Events Productions and . It was nationally syndicated throughout the United States in 1988 with reruns airing until 1990. In the show, a dinosaur hatches from a petrified egg in modern times, and is befriended by a group of teenagers. Episodes often focused on issues of conservation, ecology, and greed. The show ran for two seasons, as the dinosaur boom that had followed the film ''The Land Before Time'' (1988) waned until ''Jurassic Park'' (1993), causing viewership to drop. Aadha Full was a 2016 Indian Hindi-language coming-of-age action-drama series created by BBC Media Action in association with UNICEF. The series comprises 78 episodes and was released on DD National in October 2016. Produced by Sunshine Productions, the series starred Richa Soni, Ahsaas Khanna, and Harsh Mayar. Plot Aadha Full is based on social challenges faced by youth of today's generation. The story revolves around three teenager, Adrak, Tara and Kitty who are best friends for each other and live in a small town called Badlapur. ''Kisna: The Warrior Poet'' is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language period romance film written, edited, produced and directed by Subhash Ghai and starring Vivek Oberoi (who plays the title role), Antonia Bernath, and Isha Sharvani. The musical film is set in the British India of the tumultuous 1940s when Indian nationalists fighting for the country's independence rose up as one, urging the British Raj to leave. It is a love story about two people who are torn between Karma (the noble deed) and Dharma (the duty). The film has two veteran composers, A. R. Rahman and Ismail Darbar; the lyrics were written by Javed Akhtar. is a Japanese anime adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's original collection of stories, ''The Jungle Book''. It aired in 1989, and consists of a total of 52 episodes.
