"Shake" is a Europop song written by the Peter Hartmann, Jan Langhoff and Linda Holmberg and recorded by the Dutch singer EliZe. The song was released as EliZe's first single from her debut album '' In Control'', which was released in October 2006 in the Benelux. It was produced by Peter Hartmann and Jan Langhoff and was made "Dancesmash" by Radio 538. The single spent 5 weeks in the Dutch Top 40 and peaked at number 32. The Dutch Top 40 ( nl, Nederlandse Top 40) is a weekly music chart compiled by ''Stichting Nederlandse Top 40''. It started as a radio program titled "Veronica Top 40", on the offshore station Radio Veronica in 1965. It remained "The Veronica Top 40" until 1974, when the station was forced to stop broadcasting. Joost den Draaijer initiated the Top 40 in the Netherlands. The show currently airs on Fridays from 2 to 6 PM on Qmusic. Radio 538 () is a Dutch commercial radio station that was founded in Hilversum, Netherlands in 1992. It is the second-most listened to radio station in the Netherlands.
