Shahadat-e Al Hiqma
Shahadat-e al Hiqma () is a banned Islamist terrorist organization in Bangladesh. History Shahadat-e al Hiqma was established on 8 February 2003 by Kawsar Hossain Siddique. It is believed to be funded by Dawood Ibrahim. It announced that it would wage an armed struggle to establish an Islamic state in Bangladesh. Siddique claimed his group had 35 thousand "commandos" and "fighters". It was banned on 9 February 2003 by the Government of Bangladesh. Siddique was arrested on 9 November 2005. In July 2011, Siddique was arrested from Rajshahi after Bangladesh Police "found" a three year old "missing" warrant in his name. Siddique was also a member of the Freedom Party. He has in the past referred to the Bangladesh Liberation war as "terrorist activity". He founded Himaloy Beverage Company which according to him is a 5 billion taka company. Jihadist Flag
The jihadist flag is a flag commonly used by various Islamist and Islamic fundamentalist movements as a symbol of jihad. It usually consists of a black background with a white text of the ''shahada'' (Islamic creed) emblazoned across it in calligraphy style writing. The Bangladesh Freedom Party is a party founded by Captain Khandaker Abdur Rashid, Colonel Syed Faruque Rahman and Major Bazlul Huda, the chief conspirators of the killing of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 15 August 1975. 1989 Assassination plot On 10 August 1989, activists and leaders of Freedom Party allegedly launched an attack at Sheikh Hasina's the then residence in Dhanmondi's Road 32. 2014 Burdwan Blast
On 2 October 2014, an explosion occurred in a house in the Khagragarh locality of Burdwan. Two terrorists (initially suspected to be from the Indian Mujahideen) were killed and a third injured. The police seized 55 improvised explosive devices, RDX, wrist watch dials and SIM cards. In August 2019, 19 people including 4 Bangladeshi citizens, members of the Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), were convicted of carrying out the attacks by a National Investigation Agency special court. In February 2021, Kausar from Mymensingh in Bangladesh, a member of the JMB was convicted and sentenced to 29-years in jail by an NIA court under sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, the Arms Act and the Foreigners Act. National Investigation Agency
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is the primary counter-terrorist task force of India. The agency is empowered to deal with the investigation of terror related crimes across states without special permission from the states under written proclamation from the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Agency came into existence with the enactment of the National Investigation Agency Act 2008 by the Parliament of India on 31 December 2008, which was passed after the deadly 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai. Such an attack revealed the failure of intelligence and ability to track such activities by existing agencies in India, hence the government of India realized the need of a specific body to deal with terror related activities in India, thereby establishing the NIA. Dawood Ibrahim (; born 26 December 1955) is an Indian mafia gangster, drug kingpin, and wanted terrorist from Dongri, Mumbai.
