Shadowhawk
ShadowHawk is a fictional antihero created by Jim Valentino. He was first advertised in the ''Malibu Sun'' free promotional magazine in May of 1992. His official Image Comics debut was in the second issue of Rob Liefeld's '' Youngblood'' series. Originally, the name ShadowHawk was to be used for the Marvel character Starhawk while he had darkness powers, but Tom DeFalco convinced Valentino to use the name for a new character instead. Trencher (comics)
''Trencher'' is an American comic book series, that was created, written and drawn by Keith Giffen and released by Image Comics in 1993. It totaled only four issues before it ended, with a 5th issue indicated in the end caption, and an ad for a 5th issue in ''Images of ShadowHawk'' #2. However there never was a 5th issue and the next Trencher appearances was in ''Images of Shadowhawk'' #1–3 in 1993 also from Image Comics, ''Trencher X-Mas Bites Holiday Blow-Out'' in December 1993, and in ''Blackball Comics'' #1 in March 1994, both from short-lived UK publisher Blackball Comics. Blacklight (Image Comics)
Blacklight is the name of two fictional characters associated with the vigilante ShadowHawk from Image Comics. Ted Cleaver Blacklight, a 1960s "Hippie Hero", awakes out of a 30-year coma and goes looking for his wife Dayglo, who was actually killed by "Firepower" ten years ago. Jim Valentino
Jim Valentino (born October 28, 1952) is an American writer, penciler, editor and publisher of comic books, best known for his 1990–1992 work on ''Guardians of the Galaxy'' for Marvel Comics, and for co-founding Image Comics, a company publishing creator-owned comics. At Image Comics, Valentino produced books such as the superhero vigilante series ''ShadowHawk'', and the 1997 semi-autobiographical black and white book '' A Touch of Silver''. Brigade (comics)
''Brigade'' is an American comic book published by Image Comics and later by Awesome Entertainment, created, plotted, and originally written by Rob Liefeld and first illustrated by Marat Mychaels (creator of ''Demonslayer'' and artist on ''X-Force: Shatterstar'', '' Glory'', ''Calavera'', '' Vampiress Hella'', ''Djustine'', and many other comics) as a spin-off from the then-popular series '' Youngblood''. Shadowline
Shadowline, Inc., is an imprint of Image Comics established by Image co-founder Jim Valentino. The name is an homage to Valentino's character, ShadowHawk. History Shadowline was officially created in December 1992 when the logo first appeared on the inside front cover of Jim Valentino's ''ShadowHawk'' #3. The first book to sport the logo on its cover was ''Shadowline Special'' #1 (October, 1994). In January 1997, Shadowline became more commonly referred to as the “Non-Line” with the publication of ''A Touch of Silver'' #1. The name referred to the fact that the comics in the line at that time were not in any way aligned with one another. There was no singular universe or line. Hence, non-line. Image Comics is an American comic book publisher and is the third largest comic book and graphic novel publisher in the industry in both unit and market share. Starhawk (character)
Starhawk (Stakar of the House of Ogord) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He was created by Steve Gerber (writer) and Sal Buscema (artist). He is an antihero in the Earth-691 timeline of the Marvel Comics universe. Stakar was fated to eventually re-inhabit his infant body, reliving his life over countless times. Because of the knowledge of things to come, he manipulated events to affect what he felt would be the best outcome, referring to himself as "One Who Knows". Badrock is a fictional superhero who appears in books published by Image Comics. Created by Rob Liefeld, he was originally named Bedrock and first appeared in '' Youngblood'' #1 (April 1992). Fictional character biography Thomas John McCall was an average, underachieving 16-year-old when he swallowed a vial of top secret genetic material in his father's lab. Supreme is a fictional character, fictional superhero created by Rob Liefeld and published by Image Comics (1992–96 and 2012–15), followed by Maximum Press (1996–98), Awesome Entertainment (1999–2000), and Arcade Comics (2006). Hippie
A hippie, also spelled hippy, especially in British English, is someone associated with the counterculture of the 1960s, originally a youth movement that began in the United States during the mid-1960s and spread to different countries around the world.
