''Sgarro alla camorra'' (i.e. "Offence to the Camorra") is a 1973 Italian musical- crime film written and directed by Ettore Maria Fizzarotti and starring Mario Merola at his film debut. It is regarded as the first sceneggiata film and as a prototype for the genre. It was shot in Cetara, Province of Salerno. Ettore Maria Fizzarotti
Ettore Maria Fizzarotti (1916–1985) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Born in Naples, the son of the director Armando, he debuted as assistant director in the films of his father, and later collaborated with, among others, Vittorio Cottafavi and Raffaello Matarazzo. He made his directorial debut in 1964, with ''In ginocchio da te'', a musicarello with Gianni Morandi which was panned by critics but which got a large commercial success. Dolores Palumbo
Dolores Palumbo (14 June 1912 – 30 January 1984) was an Italian stage and film actress. Life and career Born in Naples, the daughter of two stage actors, Palumbo debuted in 1930 with a bit role in the farce ''La bella trovata''. Shorty later she entered the stage company of Nino Taranto, with whom she starred in a number of successful revues. In 1945 she joined the stage company of Eduardo De Filippo and she was critically appreciated for her performance in the comedy play '' Napoli milionaria''. Two years later she rejoined the company of Nino Taranto until the 1950s, then, in 1955, she worked again with Eduardo De Filippo, who called her in his company to replace his sister Titina.
