Revolting Cocks
Revolting Cocks, also known as RevCo, are an American-Belgian industrial rock band, and sometimes supergroup, that began as a musical side project for Richard23 of Front 242, Luc van Acker, and Al Jourgensen of Ministry. History 1984: Origins Revolting Cocks' origins date to late 1984, when Belgian industrial dance group Front 242, after having been invited by Chicago-based indie record label Wax Trax! Records, commenced their first American tour as an opening act for their then-labelmates, American band Ministry. Afterwards, Ministry lead singer Al Jourgensen asked Front 242 member Richard23 to produce a dub remix project. After returning to Brussels, Richard23 discussed collaboration with Luc van Acker; Van Acker, previously session guitarist for Shriekback, joined the newly formed project after talking with Jourgensen over the phone. Paul Vincent Raven (16 January 1961 – 20 October 2007) was an English bassist best known for his work in the post-punk group Killing Joke. He later played in the industrial music bands Prong, Ministry, and Zilch. Biography Raven was born on 16 January 1961 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. He was the son of folk musician Jon Raven, and nephew of author Michael Raven. Clayton Worbeck is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist, film composer, producer, engineer and remixer. He is the guitarist/programmer for Stayte and has remixed tracks for Filter, Ministry, IAMX, Revolting Cocks, Prong and others. Stayte The industrial rock band Stayte was co-founded by guitarist/programmer Clayton and singer/lyricist Joshua Bradford in 1997. They released ''Growing Pains'' on Nefer Records in 1999. Sinhue "Sin" Quirin is an American guitarist based in Burbank, California. He came to prominence as a member of industrial metal band Ministry and its side projects, and as a primary songwriter on their albums '' The Last Sucker'' and ''From Beer to Eternity''. In addition to his role in Ministry (co-writing credits on the abovementioned releases and guitar on 2008's ''Cover Up'' album) and primary writing credits for Revolting Cocks albums ''Sex-O Olympic-O'' and '' ¿Got Cock?'', Quirin toured the U.S. and worked with DJ Hardware on the 2009 ReVamp tour.
