Seven Princesses Of Mediacorp
Seven Princesses of Mediacorp (新传媒七公主) is a term referring to the seven most promising young Mediacorp actresses from Singapore in the 2000s, namely Jesseca Liu, Jeanette Aw, Rui En, Fiona Xie, Joanne Peh, Felicia Chin and Dawn Yeoh, then all in their twenties. Background In 2006, Zoe Tay and Fann Wong were considered the top two actresses in Mediacorp and the company seek to find a third actress to challenge the both of them. A group of seven young actresses, Liu, Aw, Rui En, Xie, Peh, Chin and Yeoh were groomed to be the third top actress. Based on Lianhe Zaobao's interviews with the media industry workers, an initial ranking of the princesses was made with Chin, Peh and Liu leading the group while Xie and Aw are dark horses and Yeoh and Rui En are last in the group. Shane Pow
Shane Pow (, born 4 October 1990) is a Singaporean actor and was named as one of the 8 Dukes of Caldecott Hill. Education and early life Pow has an elder sister. He was educated at Woodlands Ring Secondary School and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Pow is an avid sportsman and has represented the Singapore National Youth Basketball team in international competitions before an unexpected injury forced him to stop competing competitively.
