Seven Brave Men (russian: Семеро смелых) is a 1936 Soviet action drama film directed by Sergey Gerasimov. Plot Six researchers visit the Arctic. Sergei Gerasimov (film Director)
Sergei Appolinarievich Gerasimov (russian: Серге́й Апполина́риевич Гера́симов; 21 May 1906 – 26 November 1985) was a Soviet film director and screenwriter. The oldest film school in the world, the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), bears his name. Early life and education Gerasimov was born on 21 May 1906. Career Gerasimov started his film industry career as an actor in 1924. At first he appeared in Kozintsev and Trauberg films, such as ''The Overcoat'' and ''The New Babylon''. Later, he was commissioned to produce screen versions of the literary classics of socialist realism. Yuri German
Yuri Pavlovich German (russian: Ю́рий Па́влович Ге́рман) ( – January 16, 1967) was a Soviet and Russian writer, playwright, screenwriter, and journalist. Life German was born in Riga (then part of the Russian Empire) and accompanied his father, an artillery officer, during the Civil War. He graduated from high school in Kursk and studied at the Technical School of Performing Arts in Leningrad in 1929. At age 17, he wrote the novel ''Rafael iz parikmakherskoi'' (Raphael of the barbershop), published in 1928, but did not consider himself a professional writer until he published the novel ''Vstuplenie'' (Entry), which met with the approval of Maxim Gorky, in 1931. Nikolay Ivanovich Bogolyubov (russian: Никола́й Ива́нович Боголю́бов; 22 October 1899 – 9 March 1980) was a Soviet Union, Soviet actor born in Lipetsk Oblast, Ivanovskoye, Russia and a People's Artist of the RSFSR (1945). In 1933 he played in Boris Barnet's ''Okraina (1933 film), Okraina''; in 1941, he was awarded the Stalin State Prize, Stalin Prize. Bogolyubov attended the studio school of the Ryazan town theater and joined its troupe in 1919. In 1923–1926, he studied at the school of the Theater of the Russian Federation (RSFSR) named after its director, Vsevolod Meyerhold. From 1938 to 1958, the actor belonged to the Moscow Art Theater. Tamara Makarova
Tamara Fyodorovna Makarova (russian: Тама́ра Фёдоровна Мака́рова; 13 August 1907 – 19 January 1997) was a Soviet and Russian film actress and pedagogue. People's Artist of the USSR (1950) and Hero of Socialist Labour (1982). Biography Makarova was born in Saint Petersburg. She enrolled in the MASTFOR theater program in 1924, where she first met Sergei Gerasimov. The two began a romantic relationship and soon married. Ivan Novoseltsev
Ivan Petrovich Novoseltsev (born January 23, 1979) is a Russian former professional ice hockey winger. He is the uncle of Vladislav Namestnikov. Playing career As a youth, Novoseltsev played in the 1993 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a team from Moscow. Novoseltsev was drafted in the fourth round, 95th overall, by the Florida Panthers in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Drafted from the Russian Superleague's Krylya Sovetov Moscow, Novoseltsev made his North American debut with the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League during the 1997–98 season.
