Gustaf Molander
Gustaf Harald August Molander (18 November 1888 – 19 June 1973) was a Sweden, Swedish actor and film director. His parents were director Harald Molander, Sr. (1858–1900) and singer and actress Lydia Molander, ''née'' Wessler, and his brother was the director Olof Molander (1892–1966). He was the father of director and producer Harald Molander from his first marriage to actress Karin Molander and father to actor Jan Molander from his second marriage to Elsa Fahlberg (1892–1977). Gustaf Molander was born in Helsinki, Helsingfors (now Helsinki) in the Grand Duchy of Finland (in the Russian Empire), where his father was working at the Swedish Theatre. He studied in the school of the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm 1907–1909, acted at the Swedish theatre in Helsingfors 1909–1913, and then at the Royal Dramatic Theatre from 1913 to 1926. Tollie Zellman
Berta Alice Victoria "Tollie" Zellman (31 August 1887 – 9 October 1964) was a Swedish actress. She appeared in 49 films between 1906 and 1964. Tollie Zellman appeared on scene first 1907. She is one of Sweden's most famous comediennes. From 1941 to 1947 she worked at the Oscar Theater in Stockholm. Her most famous role was as Mrs Dulcie Baxter in a play by Hubert Henry Davies, ''The Mollusc'' (1914). She played Mrs Baxter on stage at the Blanche Theatre in Stockholm in 1922 as well as in radio 1933. From 1907 to 1952 she played in around 50 films. ''Servants' Entrance'' is a 1934 American Pre-Code musical comedy film. It was written by Samson Raphaelson from the Sigrid Boo novel and directed by Frank Lloyd, with a cartoon sequence by Walt Disney (Who's company now ironically owns this film due to their 2019 Acquisition of Fox) in which an understandably startled Janet Gaynor sings a song while obstreperous animated singing silverware prance around on her bed, an early example of combining live action with animation. Critics found this musical interlude especially charming. This film was adapted from Sigrid Boo's 1930 Norwegian novel ''Vi som går kjøkkenveien'' (''"We Who Enter Through the Kitchen"'') which has an almost identical plot to Eleanor Hoyt Brainerd's popular 1917 novel ''How Could You, Jean?'', which had already been adapted into a film of the same name in 1918, directed by William Desmond Taylor and starring Mary Pickford. Mathias Taube
Mathias ″Mattis″ Taube (21 September 1876 – 23 June 1934) was a Swedish actor and artist. Taube made his film debut in 1916, and came to participate in more than 20 films. Biography Mathias Taube was born in Lindesberg on 21 September 1876. He was the son of Axel Taube and Johanna Matilda, born Törnsten. He married on 9 May 1911 in Copenhagen the journalist Ella Ekman-Hansen, with whom he had a daughter and a son, the actor Aino Taube. He was a cousin of Evert Taube, and when Evert came to Stockholm he often stayed with his cousin Mathias. He got there artistic inspiration and was also introduced to the circle of friends of Mathias and his sister Sigrid. Mathias Taube died on 23 June 1934 in Stockholm. Åke Ohberg (20 July 1905 – 18 July 1975) was a cinema of Sweden, Swedish actor and film director. He appeared in about 30 roles in films between 1932 and 1961. Ohberg was born to Johan and Hulda Ohberg in Västerås, Sweden. Marriage and Family He married actress Birgit Chenon but that marriage did not last. Siegfried Fischer (actor)
Fritz Adolf Ferdinand Siegfried Fischer (14 July 1894 â€“ 8 April 1976) was a Swedish actor, theatre manager, playwright, screenwriter and writer. He was born in Stockholm, the son of conductor Franz Fischer. At seventeen years old he was hired by Axel Lindblad's theatre company. He was engaged at '' Blancheteatern'' 1919–1921 and then at the '' Casinoteatern'' until 1928, where he also worked as a director and playwright. He ran '' Klippans sommarteater'' and '' Söders friluftsteater'' for a while where he staged comedies he had written with his brother, actor Arthur Fischer. He is buried in SkogskyrkogÃ¥rden in Stockholm.
