Sergey Morozov (russian: Сергей Морозов; born June 14, 1989) is a Kazakhstani mixed martial artist who competes in the Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Morozov is the former M-1 Bantamweight Champion. Background Having played football since the age of seven years old, he enrolled in the Youth Sports School, studied there, played until the age of 17. Then, at the age of 17, he joined the Aktobe-Zhas team, which played in the First League. He played there for two seasons, before leaving because of character issues - uncompromising, nasty, fighting. In December 2021, Morozov converted to Islam. Sergey Morozov (racewalker)
Sergey Morozov (born 21 March 1988) is a Russian race walker who competes in the 20 kilometres walk. He was the 2005 World Youth and 2007 European Junior champion in the 10,000 m walk, then walked a world's fastest time of 1:16:43 hours to win the 2008 Russian 20 km title. He was banned that year after testing positive for EPO. He returned to competition in 2010 and represented Russia at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics. He was banned for life in December 2012 after being caught doping for a second time, and all results since 25 February 2011 were annulled. He and more than two dozen other prominent Russian walkers banned for doping were all coached by Viktor Chegin. Sergey Morozov (politician)
Sergey Ivanovich Morozov (russian: Сергей Иванович Морозов; born 6 September 1959, Ulyanovsk) is a Russian politician who is currently a member of parliament of the State Duma. He had served as the 3rd governor of Ulyanovsk Oblast in Russia from 6 January 2005 until 8 April 2021. He was elected in 2004; his term started in 2005. After completing military service in the Soviet Pacific Fleet in 1980 he graduated from the All Union Juristic Institute in 1981. Between 1981 and 2000 he worked for the Ministry of the Interior in the Ulyanovsk Oblast later becoming head of the local Drug Enforcement Department. Morozov was elected mayor of Dimitrovgrad in 2000 and then governor of Ulyanovsk in 2004. He is married and has two sons and a daughter. Morozov took a special interest in promoting the cultural events surrounding the 2016 Bandy World Championship, which took place in Ulyanovsk.
