Serdar Topraktepe
Serdar Topraktepe (born August 25, 1976 in İstanbul) is a Turkish retired footballer who last played for Turkish Super League side Kocaelispor. He played as a striker or as a left sided winger. He wore the jersey number 41, which is also the license plate for Kocaeli. Professional career His excellent displays in 2007–08 season for Kocaelispor helped his team to win promotion from TFF First League. Serdar was a skillful forward with flair and fierce shots. He was capped only twice for Turkey at senior level, despite having represented Turkey several times at youth levels. In his long career he had four league and two Turkish Cup titles. Personal life Serdar is the brother of the footballer Ömer Topraktepe. The Turkish Super Cup ( Turkish: ''TFF Süper Kupa''), as it is currently known, is the annual super cup football match contested between the previous season's Süper Lig champions and the Turkish Cup winners in Turkey. It was originally known as the ''Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası'' (Presidential Cup) from 1966 to 1998. No competition was held between 1999 and 2005, although there was a substitute competition played under the name of Atatürk Cup in 2000. Ömer Topraktepe (born 2 March 1980 in İstanbul) is a Turkish retired footballer best known for his stints as a defender with Gençlerbirliği S.K. in the Süper Lig, and Türk Telekom GSK in the TFF First League. Professional career Topraktepe was a professional footballer in the top divisions of Turkey from 1999–2013. The TFF 1. Lig, officially known as Spor Toto 1. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the second level of the Turkish football league system. The league was founded in 2001 as the ''Turkish Second League Category A'' after the reorganization of the Second Football League, which was the second level of the Turkish league system between 1963 and 2001. The league was called ''Türk Telekom Lig A'' in the 2006–2007 season, and was renamed to ''TFF First League'' prior to the 2007–08 season. As of 16 January 2008 the league was renamed as Bank Asya 1.
