Serbia National Cricket Team
The Serbian national cricket team is the team that represents Serbia in international cricket. It is governed by the Serbian Cricket Federation (also known as Kriket federacija Srbije) which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in June 2015 and is an associate member since 2017. History Serbia's national team made its first away appearance in 2009. It won one match and lost the other against the Slovenian team Mezica CC. In August 2011, Serbia reached the semi-finals of the EuroT20 tournament in Budapest. 2018-Present In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant full Twenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Serbia and other ICC members after 1 January 2019 will be a full T20I. Serbian Cricket Federation , also known as Kriket federacija Srbije is the official governing body of the sport of cricket in Serbia. Its current headquarters is in Belgrade, Serbia. Serbian Cricket Federation is the Serbian representative at the International Cricket Council and is an affiliate member and has been a member of that body since June 2015. It is also a member of the European Cricket Council. Since 2017, they are an associate member. History Two clubs Stari Grad and Mirijevo were founded in Belgrade in 2007. This is when cricket finally found its place in Serbia. From October 2007, key persons Haris Dajč, Vladimir Ninković, Darko Ivić, Nenad Dugić and Amberish Sarang (ex- Maharashtra cricketer) started organizing cricket training. The Bulgaria national cricket team represents Bulgaria in international cricket. The team is organised by the Bulgarian Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2008 and an List of International Cricket Council members, associate member in 2017. Cricket In Serbia
Amateur cricket began in Serbia in 2007 when two clubs, Stari Grad and Mirijevo, were founded in Belgrade. Haris Dajč, Vladimir Ninković, Darko Ivić and Nenad Dugić started organizing cricket training with the help of ex-Maharashtra player Mr. Amberish Sarang in October 2007. Soon new members and enthusiasts were added. With the help and support from Ms. Katherine Lawrence from the embassy of the United Kingdom, as well as gentlemen Nandikesh Nayar and Vimal Kumar Yadav from the embassy of the Republic of India, the full equipment was obtained as well as new instructors and players. In 2009 the Serbia national cricket team, playing under the identity of the Belgrade Cricket Association, played their first international match against Slovenian club Mezica CC, winning one match, and losing one. This is a list of Serbian Twenty20 International cricketers. In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant full Twenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. 2020–21 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier
The 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was played as part of qualification process for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. The sub regional tournaments were scheduled to take place in June and July 2021 in Finland and Belgium, with the regional final taking place in October 2021 in Spain. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 men's matches played between member sides from 1 January 2019 onwards. Therefore, all the matches in the Regional Qualifiers were played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
