Basketball Federation Of Serbia
The Basketball Federation of Serbia ( sr, Кошаркашки савез Србије, Košarkaški savez Srbije) is a non-profit organization and the national sports governing body for basketball in Serbia. The organization represents Serbia in FIBA and the men's and women's national basketball teams in the Olympic Committee of Serbia. The Federation traditionally selects the Serbian Basketball Player of the Year. History Structure Managing board According to the Federation Statute, the Managing Board is constituted by the representatives elected through a semi-mandatory system. This means that a half of the executive body members is appointed by the President and the remaining four will be elected by The Federation Assembly. 2016 FIBA Europe Under-18 3x3 Championships
The 2016 FIBA Europe Under-18 3x3 Championships was the second edition of the European Under-18 3x3 basketball event that features separate competitions for men's and women's national teams. The tournament started on 16 July 2016 with the start of two qualifying tournaments and its final tournament was played in Debrecen, Hungary from 9–11 September 2016. France won an historic double as both their men's and women's teams took home gold for their first championship in this competition. Qualification The qualification events took place on 16–17 July 2016. A total of 26 men's teams and 22 women's teams took part in the two tournaments, with 12 teams of each gender qualifying for the final championship. Rade Zagorac
Rade Zagorac ( sr-cyr, Раде Загорац; born 12 August 1995) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Avtodor Saratov of the VTB United League. Standing at 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m), he mainly plays at the small forward position. Professional career Zagorac began his professional career with Mega Vizura starting with 2012–13 season. He spent the 2013–14 season on loan to Smederevo 1953. He returned to Mega for the 2014–15 season. On 1 October 2015, in the Round 1 game of the Adriatic League against Crvena zvezda, he broke his left arm. He returned to the court on 17 January in a game against Tajfun. Until the end of the season he played a total of 13 Adriatic League games, averaging 13.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
