Jason Rogers (born April 14, 1983) is an American saber fencer. Fencing career Rogers was born in Houston, Texas. At the urging of his parents, he began to learn fencing at the Westside Fencing Center under the tutelage of his coach, Daniel Costin. He currently fences for the Los Angeles International Fencing Center. Rogers graduated from Brentwood School (Los Angeles, California) in Los Angeles, California in 2001. He signed with Ohio State University, where he was the NCAA sabre bronze medalist in 2002 and 2003. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology ın 2006. He competed in Athens and fenced in the Beijing Olympics for both the team and individual tournaments in Sabre. Marie Muller (born 29 July 1985, in Filderstadt) is a Luxembourger judoka. Biography Marie Muller's first official competition was the EM U23 tournament in Ljubljana 2004, where she finished in third place. Since that competition Marie has participated in about 20 tournaments including the Beijing Olympic Games and the London Olympic Games in 2012. Her best achievement besides participating in the Olympics was first place in the Swedish open in 2007 and first place in the 2008 A-World Cup (Birmingham). The Women's 52 kg (also known as ''half-lightweight'') judo tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics was held on August 10 at the Beijing Science and Technology University Gymnasium. A total of 22 women competed in this event, limited to jūdōka with a body weight of less than 52 kilograms. Preliminary rounds started at 12:00 China Standard Time, CST, while repechage finals, semifinals, bouts for bronze medals and the final were held at 18:00 CST. This event was the second-lightest of the women's judo weight classes, limiting competitors to a maximum of 52 kilograms of body mass. Like all other judo events, bouts lasted five minutes. If the bout was still tied at the end, it was extended for another five-minute, sudden-death period; if neither judoka scored during that period, the match is decided by the judges.
