Christiane Seidel (born April 3, 1988) is a German-Danish-American actress, having had roles in ''Boardwalk Empire'' (2011-2014), ''Schmidts Katze'' (2014), '' The Hollow'' (2016), '' Godless'' (2017), ''Fosse/Verdon'' and ''Human Capital'' (2019), and ''Paradise Highway'' in 2022. Early life Seidel was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, to a Danish mother and a German father, who was serving in the navy. She also grew up in Denmark and Germany. Heinrich Friedrich Wilhelm Seidel (25 June 1842, Perlin, Germany, Perlin, Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Schwerin – 7 November 1906, Berlin) was a German engineer, poet and writer. Life Seidel was the son of a pastor and studied in the Polytechnikum in Hannover from 1860 to 1862 and in the Gewerbeakademie in Berlin, becoming an engineer. Beginning in 1866 he participated in the construction of the Anhalter Bahnhof railway station in Berlin, where he was the first to achieve the construction of its main hall roof with a free span of 62,5 m. However, in 1880 he gave up the profession to dedicate himself to writing the children's stories and fairy tales for which he is chiefly remembered today. Franz Wendelin "Hanns" Seidel (; ; 12 October 1901 – 5 August 1961) was a German politician who served as Prime Minister of Bavaria from 1957 to 1960. He was a member, and from 1955 to 1961 chairman, of the Christian Social Union of Bavaria. Biography Seidel was born in Schweinheim, now part of Aschaffenburg, one of seven children; his parents were Johann and Christine Seidel. Fynn Seidel (born 31 January 2004) is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club SpVgg Unterhaching. Frederick Seidel (born February 19, 1936) is an American poet. Biography Seidel was born to a family of Russian Jewish descent in St. Louis, Missouri in 1936. His family owned Seidel Coal and Coke, which supplied coal to the brewing industry in St. Louis, as well as a West Virginia mine. Seidel graduated from St. Louis Country Day School and earned his A.B. at Harvard University in 1957.
