Second Kumaraswamy Ministry
The Second H. D. Kumaraswamy ministry was the Council of Ministers in Karnataka, a state in South India headed by H. D. Kumaraswamy that was formed after the 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections. In the government headed by H. D. Kumaraswamy, the Chief Minister was from JD(S) while Deputy Chief Minister was from INC. Apart from the CM & Deputy CM, there were 32 ministers in the government, but all the 32 ministers resigned from their posts in July 2019 due to political turmoil in Karnataka. Tenure of the Government After the 2018 assembly elections, BJP emerged as the single largest party with 104 seats, followed by the INC with 78 seats and JD(S) with 37 seats. Gangadharaiah Parameshwara (born 6 August 1951) is an Indian politician who served as seventh Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, and also the longest-serving President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee for two consecutive terms. Early life and education Parameshwara was born on 6 August 1951, at Gollahalli (now known as Siddartha Nagar) in Tumkur. He was born to Gangamalamma Chikkanna and Former MLC Gangadharaiah Hebbalalu Mariyappa. Gokak is a taluka headquarters in the Belgaum district of Karnataka state, India. It is located around 70 km from Belgaum at the confluence of two rivers, the Ghataprabha and the Markandeya. The population of the city is according to 2011 census is approximately 213000. Gokak city has second highest GDP in the district of Belgaum after Belgaum city. The common language is Kannada. Ramesh Jarkiholi
Ramesh Jarkiholi (born 1 May 1960) an Indian politician, former minister of Water Resources in the Government of Karnataka, between 2020 and 2021. As member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he represents Gokak in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He previously served as the Minister for Municipal Administration. Jarkiholi is a six-time member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. In June 2016, he was inducted into the Siddaramaiah-led government of Karnataka as a cabinet minister. He held the Small Scale Industries Ministry portfolio. He was disqualified from the assembly as per the anti-defection law in 2019, but was re-elected to the assembly on a BJP ticket in December 2019.
