Second Haradinaj Cabinet
The second Haradinaj cabinet was formed the government of Kosovo from 9 September 2017 upon the defeat of Isa Mustafa and the LA Coalition in the 2017 Kosovan parliamentary election, 2017 elections to 3 February 2020 following its defeat in the 2019 Kosovan parliamentary election, 2019 parliamentary election. The cabinet was made up of members of the PANA Coalition and some members of the opposition. Kosovo
Kosovo ( sq, Kosova or ; sr-Cyrl, Косово ), officially the Republic of Kosovo ( sq, Republika e Kosovës, links=no; sr, Република Косово, Republika Kosovo, links=no), is a partially recognised state in Southeast Europe. LA Coalition
The LA coalition ( sq, Koalicioni LA) was a political alliance in Kosovo, between the Democratic League of Kosovo and The Alternative which stood in the 2017 elections along with the New Kosovo Alliance, who left the coalition after the elections. It was founded originally as LAA coalition ( sq, Koalicioni LAA). The Democratic League of Kosovo member Avdullah Hoti was the leader of the parliamentary group, and the coalition's candidate for prime minister. The coalition was in opposition and had a total of 27 seats. History No single party or pre-election coalition would be able to govern alone in Kosovo, according to the results of the snap elections, held on 11 June 2017. The LAA Coalition came third in the elections behind the PAN Coalition and Vetëvendosje, winning 29 seats, with 32 more seats needed for a majority. Accession Of Kosovo To The European Union
The accession of Kosovo to the European Union (EU) is on the current agenda for future enlargement of the EU. Kosovo is currently recognized by the EU as a potential candidate for accession. Kosovo's declaration of independence from Serbia was enacted on 17 February 2008 by a vote of members of the Assembly of Kosovo. Pal Lekaj
Pal Lekaj (born 29 June 1962) is a politician and medical doctor in Kosovo. He was the mayor of Gjakova from 2007 to 2013 and a cabinet minister in the Republic of Kosovo government from 2017 to 2020. Lekaj is a member of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK). Early life and career Lekaj was born to an Albanian family in Gjakova, in what was then the Autonomous Region of Kosovo and Metohija in the People's Republic of Serbia, Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. He graduated from the University of Pristina's Faculty of Medicine in 1993 as a Doctor of General Medicine. Rrustem Berisha
Rrustem Berisha (born 2 March 1965) is a Kosovar politician and military officer. He was Minister of Defense in Haradinaj cabinet. During the Yugoslav Wars, he fought in the Croatian War of Independence and the Kosovo War. He was a commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during the Battle of Košare. Dardan Gashi is a Kosovo Albanian politician and author and was Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo / Minister of the Ministry of Diaspora and Strategic Investments in the cabinet of Ramush Haradinaj from September 2017 to February 2020.
