Scott Morrison (basketball Coach)
Scott Morrison (born 1978) is a Canadian basketball coach who is currently the head coach of the Salt Lake City Stars of the NBA G League. Early life Morrison was born and raised in Morell, Prince Edward Island, and attended Morell Regional High School. Growing up, his father George was the head coach of the UPEI Panthers men's basketball program. College career From 1995 to 2000, Morrison attended the University of Prince Edward Island and played for the Panthers in the Canadian Inter-University Sport (CIS). He graduated as the school's all-time leader in assists and 3-point field goals made and fifth on the all-time leading scorer list. He also finished as the Atlantic University Sport's all-time leader for career 3-pointers made (220 in 99 games), still holding the record as of the 2019–20 season. Scott Morrison (born January 3, 1986), nicknamed "Scomo", is a Canadian former professional basketball player who last played for Ryukyu Golden Kings of the B.League. Morrison played the center position. College career At the age of 18, he moved to America and began his college career in Portland State University. The 2021–22 NBL season was the 44th season of the National Basketball League since its establishment in 1979. A total of ten teams are contesting in the 2021–22 season, which commenced on 3 December 2021. Australian broadcast rights to the season are held by ESPN in the first season of a new three-year deal. Bradley Kent Stevens (born October 22, 1976) is an American basketball executive and former coach who is currently the president of basketball operations for the Boston Celtics. Born and raised in Zionsville, Indiana, Stevens starred on the Zionsville Community High School basketball team, setting four school records. After high school, he attended DePauw University, where he played basketball and earned a degree in economics. Stevens made the all-conference team multiple times and was a three-time Academic All-America nominee. He transitioned into coaching after quitting his job at Eli Lilly and Company, joining the basketball program at Butler University as a volunteer prior to the 2000–01 season.
