Egil Hjorth-Jenssen (18 April 1893 – 8 November 1969) was a Norwegian actor and theatre director, playwright, children's writer and translator. Personal life Hjorth-Jenssen was born in Fredrikshald as a son of editor Gunnar Olaves Jenssen (1843–1924) and Anna Marie Cecilie Hjorth (1867–1929), and married Rachel Råby (1900–1958) in 1921. Career He made his stage debut in 1914 at Stavanger Teater, From 1916 to 1919 he worked at Trondhjems Teater, then Chat Noir from 1919 to 1921 and Trondhjems Teater from 1921 to 1925. He later played at several Oslo theatres (Centralteatret, Det Nye Teater, Søilen Teater, and Carl Johan Theater), including at Nationaltheatret from 1934 to 1937. He chaired the Norwegian Actors' Equity Association from 1932 to 1939, and served as theatre director of Den Nationale Scene in Bergen from 1939 to 1946. Dagmar Myhrvold
Dagmar Myhrvold (April 19, 1898 – April 21, 1972) was a Norwegian actress. After attending Sofie Bernhoft's school, Myhrvold spent a year studying theater in Copenhagen. In 1916 she was able to make her debut as a participant in Edvard Drabløs's touring theater. The following year there was a tour with '' The Dance of Death'' by August Strindberg, in which she played two roles, was responsible for the music, and played violin. From 1919 onward she was engaged with the Norwegian Theater. Solfrid "Winnie" Heier (born September 20, 1945) is a Norwegian actress and singer. She has appeared in film and television roles. Sigbjørn Hølmebakk
Sigbjørn Hølmebakk (2 February 1922 – 25 November 1981) was a Norwegian author. Biography Hølmebakk was born at Feda (now Kvinesdal) in Vest-Agder, Norway. His parents were Søren Adolf Svindland (1881–1966) and Inger Marie Abrahamsen Møgedal (1888–1949). His brother was the publisher and author Gordon Hølmebakk. After attending trading school, Hølmebakk worked for a few years in Oslo. In 1943 he returned to Feda to take over the small farm. Hølmebakk's début in literature came in 1950 with the novel "Don't Talk About the Fall" (''Ikke snakk om høsten''). As an author he was a realist, who wrote of existential questions with force and skillfully explored social backgrounds. He was a much beloved author before he died at the relatively young age of 59. Bonne Gauguin
Bonne Gauguin (born Ingeborg Kathrine Winther-Hjelm Jelstrup, November 28, 1910 – July 12, 1989) was a Norwegian actress and dance instructor. Gauguin trained as a dance teacher in Germany. In the 1930s she moved to Trondheim and made her debut at the Trøndelag Theater. In 1941 she married the visual artist Paul René Gauguin, who was a set designer at the Unge Trøndelag Theater from 1939 to 1945. In 1946 they moved to Oslo, where she got a job at the Studio Theater. The couple divorced before 1950. When the Studio Theater closed down, she started working at the National Traveling Theater, and she also worked at the People's Theater and to a lesser extent at the Norwegian Theater, NRK's Radio Theater and Television Theater, and in Norwegian films.
