''Schooled'' magazine was a monthly magazine based in Provo, Utah, United States and was in publication from 3 September 2003 to 2010. The magazine is owned and managed by Russ Taylor, who acquired the title in October 2004. ''Schooled'', with the motto "for the student, by the student", was written for and by students and focuses on college student life. It targeted students at Brigham Young University and Utah Valley State College Utah Valley University (UVU) is a public university in Orem, Utah. UVU offers master's, bachelor's, associate degrees, and certificates. Previously called Utah Valley State College, the school attained university status in July 2008. History .... "Schooled" is the second episode of the fourth season of the American sitcom ''Modern Family'', and the series' 74th episode overall. It aired October 10, 2012. The episode was written by Steven Levitan & Dan O'Shannon and directed by Jeff Melman. Plot The entire family is gathered at the Dunphy's house for dinner to celebrate Haley's (Sarah Hyland) upcoming first day of college. ''Schooled'' is an American television sitcom and a direct spin-off to '' The Goldbergs''. It was ordered by ABC with Tim Meadows, Bryan Callen and AJ Michalka in the main cast. The concept aired as a backdoor pilot on a January 24, 2018, episode of ''The Goldbergs'' called " ''The Goldbergs'': 1990-Something". The series premiered on January 9, 2019, as a mid-season replacement. In May 2019, ABC renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on September 25, 2019.
