Karen Louise Barrow (born November 1981), better known by her stage name Scarlette Fever, is an English singer, songwriter, musician and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in Hertfordshire, she studied music before signing to Starfisch Records. Career ''Crash and Burn'' Her debut single "Crash and Burn" was co-written by Scarlette Fever, Alex Smith from Metrophonic and Tony Fennell, mixed by Cenzo Townshend (Snow Patrol) and produced by Julian Emery (Lissie). The track received high rotation on BBC Radio 2's B-List. The Jason Nevins remix of "Crash and Burn" reached number 2 in the '' Music Week'' Commercial Pop Club Chart as well as the top ten of the ''Billboard'' Dance Club Breakers chart and a Top 50 Dance position in the US. Welwyn Garden City ( ) is a town in Hertfordshire, England, north of London. It was the second garden city in England (founded 1920) and one of the first new towns (designated 1948). From 2010 to 2014, Smooth Radio was an independent, commercial, national radio station in the United Kingdom. Owned by Real and Smootha company formerly known as GMG Radiothe station was aimed at the over-40 demographic, and competed for its audience with BBC Radio 2. It was broadcast on the DAB Digital Radio Digital 1 national multiplex, Sky, Freesat, Freeview, Virgin Media, online and on regional FM and DAB frequencies in the North West, London, North East, West Midlands, Scotland and East Midlands. Mike and the Mechanics (stylised as Mike + The Mechanics) is an English rock supergroup formed in Dover in 1985 by Mike Rutherford, initially as a side project during a hiatus period for his earlier group Genesis. David Allen "Davey" Faragher (born August 18, 1957) is an American bass guitarist from Redlands, California. Faragher's career took off and received critical notice as a founding member of the nineties band Cracker, and his subsequent work with John Hiatt's band, and The Imposters, the backing band for Elvis Costello since 2001.
