JUTAUN (pronounced zha-táwn) is a band that began as a multi-cultural R&B male vocal group of high school friends from Monroe Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. Brothers Jake and James Evans teamed with Anthony "Brian" Lewis, Peter Garcia, and Samoeun Cheng in the Spring of 1999. The father of Jake and James Evans, Jake Evans Jr., served as the group's vocal coach and mentor. He incorporated their sound with influences of classic R&B acts like The Temptations, Take 6, and Earth, Wind & Fire. As the band grew, Jake, James, and Samoeun recruited current members Stephen Honsberger, Carter Fox, Jordan Damiani, and Michael Walker. ''Approaching Normal'' is the fifth studio album by alternative rock band Blue October. The album was released on March 24, 2009 and debuted at number thirteen on the Billboard charts. Background Justin Furstenfeld unveiled the title and tentative track listing on Blue October's website on January 31, 2008. Pre-production of the album began at the beginning of 2008 with demos being recorded at 5am Studio in Austin, Texas. The recording sessions for the album began on August 18, 2008, and were completed on October 24, 2008, with the band recording the album at Willie Nelson's Pedernales Studios near Austin with Grammy–winning producer Steve Lillywhite. They also recorded part of the album in Sony Recordings in Tokyo, Japan. Post-production was completed on January 8, 2009. Choomba
Choomba is an Australian electronic dance music duo consisting of cousins, record producer Christian Benson and Timothy Benson. The project formed in 2019. They received full rotation on Triple J with their song "La Luh". The pair have played Wildlands Festival, Spilt Milk and The Grass Is Greener. They hosted the electronic music program ''The Nudge'' on Triple J from August 2021 until their departure in March 2022. Career Choomba first started in Amsterdam.
