Sarsippius' Ark
''Sarsippius' Ark'', also referred to as ''Sarsippius' Ark (Limited Edition)'', due to its cover, is the second album from Infectious Grooves and was released February 2, 1993. The album features various skits from Mike Muir as the character Sarsippius, the title character of the album. The album reached number 109 on the Billboard 200 charts and number 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers charts that same year. Videos were made for "These Freaks Are Here to Party" and "Three Headed Mind Pollution". Infectious Grooves
Infectious Grooves is an American funk metal supergroup led by vocalist Mike Muir and initially a side project from his group Suicidal Tendencies. The current lineup also includes guitarists Dean Pleasants and Jim Martin; bassist Robert Trujillo]; drummer Brooks Wackerman. To date, the project released four albums between 1991 and 2000. Though Muir's sense of humor was often obvious with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves often brought out a goofier type of humor, incorporating comedy skits involving an anthropomorphic reptile named Sarsippius. A mascot costume of Sarsippius was later created and often appeared during the band's live performances. The Infectious Grooves were on hiatus between the release of their fourth album, 2000's ''Mas Borracho'' and 2007, while the band's personnel were busy with other projects. Jimmy Page
James Patrick Page (born 9 January 1944) is an English musician who achieved international success as the guitarist and founder of the rock band Led Zeppelin. Page is prolific in creating guitar riffs. His style involves various alternative guitar tunings and melodic solos, coupled with aggressive, distorted guitar tones. It is also characterized by his folk and eastern-influenced acoustic work. He is also noted for occasionally playing his guitar with a cello bow to create a droning sound texture to the music. Page began his career as a studio session musician in London and, by the mid-1960s, alongside Big Jim Sullivan, was one of the most sought-after session guitarists in Britain. He was a member of the Yardbirds from 1966 to 1968. When the Yardbirds broke up, he founded Led Zeppelin, which was active from 1968 to 1980. Infectious Grooves Albums
An infection is the invasion of tissues by pathogens, their multiplication, and the reaction of host tissues to the infectious agent and the toxins they produce.
