Linda Sarna is an American nursing researcher and academic. She is dean, professor and Lulu Wolf Hassenplug Chair of the UCLA School of Nursing. Sarna was appointed the school's seventh dean Nov. 15, 2016,. after serving as acting dean (2014-2015) and interim dean (2015-2016). Education Sarna received her education in the University of California system. She attended UCLA where she earned her BS in Nursing in 1969 and her MN in Oncology Nursing in 1976. Mirosława Kazimiera Sarna (née Sałacińska; born 8 June 1942) is a Polish former track and field athlete who competed in the long jump, short sprints and the women's pentathlon. She was the gold medallist in the long jump at the 1969 European Athletics Championships and was twice a bronze medallist in that discipline at the European Athletics Indoor Championships. An 8-time Polish national champion, she represented her country at the 1968 Summer Olympics. Her long jump best was . Nahum Mattathias Sarna (Hebrew: נחום סרנא; March 27, 1923 – June 23, 2005) was a modern biblical scholar who is best known for the study of Genesis and Exodus represented in his ''Understanding Genesis'' (1966) and in his contributions to the first two volumes of the ''JPS Torah Commentary'' (1989/91). Paweł Michał Sarna (born 12 June 1984 in Nowy Sącz) is a Polish slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 2000 to 2010, predominantly in the C2 category. He won a bronze medal in the C2 team event at the 2003 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Augsburg. He also won two silvers and two bronzes in the same event at the European Championships.
