''Santosham'' () is a 1955 Telugu-language drama film, produced by M. Somasundaram under the Jupiter Pictures banner and directed by C. P. Deekshith. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, Anjali Devi and Jamuna, with music composed by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy. It is a remake of the Tamil film ''Velaikari'' (1949) and it was simultaneously made in Hindi as ''Naya Aadmi'' (1956). Plot Zamindar Dayanidhi is a deceitful vicious miser whose profession is to take advantage of the destitute by giving loans and taking authority over them. Unable to repay the money he has borrowed from Zamindar for his son Anand's higher studies, Sundaraiah commits suicide. Suvaluxmi (born 19 August 1977) is a former Indian actress who predominantly appeared in Tamil films. She also appeared in Bengali, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada films. ''Santosham'' ( Happiness) is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language comedy drama film directed by Dasaradh who co-wrote the film with Gopimohan and Trivikram Srinivas. It stars Nagarjuna Akkineni, Prabhu Deva, Gracy Singh (her Telugu debut) and Shriya Saran. The music was composed by R. P. Patnaik. The film won two Nandi Awards and two Filmfare Awards South.
